Quality & Food Safety Update: Transitioning from QC to QA
The Quality and Food Safety team is proud to announce an important evolution in how we manage quality across our facility. We are transitioning from a traditional Quality Control (QC) model to a more proactive and robust Quality Assurance (QA) system.
While QC primarily focuses on inspecting finished products, QA is centered on preventing issues before they occur by strengthening processes at every stage of production.
With this approach, controls are reinforced
With this approach, controls are reinforced throughout the entire operation—from ingredient receiving to finished product distribution. Through enhanced monitoring, verification activities, and increased employee awareness, we are better positioned to reduce risks such as contamination.
Most importantly, this transition reinforces a critical mindset: quality is not just a final check—it is a shared responsibility across all departments.
By emphasizing prevention, our QA approach will help ensure we continue delivering products that consistently meet the highest standards.
